Dr. Gurbani is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in Foot and Ankle surgery. He is an Orange County native, and is happy to provide care to the community that he grew up in. Prior to joining SCOS, he practiced for several years as faculty at UCLA.
Dr. Gurbani completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University. Following this, he completed medical school and Orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA. He then completed his orthopaedic Foot and Ankle fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, training with leaders within the field, before returning home to Southern California.

Ankle arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which an arthroscope, a small, soft, flexible tube with a light and video camera at the end, is inserted into the ankle joint to evaluate and treat a variety of conditions.
Minimally invasive Achilles repair is a surgical technique used to treat a tear or rupture of the Achilles tendon using a small incision. A traditional open surgery for repair of the Achilles tendon tear would involve making a larger incision.
